What services can I receive through Comprehensive Health Services?
We currently offer the following services:

What is telehealth/telepsychiatry?
Telehealth is the process of providing health care from a distance through technology, often using videoconferencing. Telepsychiatry, a subset of telehealth, allows for medication prescribers to have direct contact with clients to discuss medication management and prescribing medications.
Can I be prescribed psychiatric medication?
Yes, we have prescribers available at each of our locations to meet your medication needs. You must be receiving therapy services before you can be set up for a medication appointment. We require that all new clients must attend three consecutive therapy sessions before meeting with a medication prescriber.
Refill request require up to 72 hours of notification prior to determination of approval or denial. If you would like to request a refill of a current medication, please contact your pharmacy and ask a faxed request be sent to the CHS office. At the discretion of the medication provider, refills on medications may be approved until the time of your next scheduled appointment. Prescriptions will not be refilled until an appointment is scheduled.

How can I become a client?
You can become a client by either calling your desired location directly, emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or fill out our contact form and one of our intake coordinators will reach out to you.
How do I choose a provider?
Each location page offers biographies for our providers. When you talk to one of our intake coordinators, you can ask for specific availability of certain clinicians. It is not guaranteed that providers will have immediate openings for you. If you don't have an idea of who you want to book an appointment with, our intake coordinators will give you options and discuss appointment availability with you.

How can I access copies of my medical records?
Simply fill out a consent for release of your records. Paperwork can be accessed on the Forms page.
How can I contact a provider after hours?
We have 24-hour coverage available through our answering service. If you contact us after hours, the answering service will take down your information and our administrative staff will make sure your provider receives your message. We have On-Call Clinicians available during weekends who can additionally reach out to you, if you're unable to get in contact with your provider.
