Michael Sperber, M.D.

Mike Sperber, MD was trained in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School’s McLean Hospital where he is currently a psychiatric consultant. Dr. Sperber is also a renowned author in the field of psychiatry, his most recent book based on excelling in life after a trauma.

Dr. Sperber believes that the “art of living” involves developing the ability to use one’s adversities to grow. Through this difficult process, Dr. Sperber helps his clients develop resilience to life’s difficulties, so that they can excel in life.

Dr. Sperber says the following about his approach to effective and balanced care: “When I work with clients, sometimes medications are necessary. In general, I try to prescribe the smallest amounts needed, for the shortest periods of time they are needed. Always, every client is treated as an individual, with his or her unique set of challenges, strengths, and goals.”

Tianna Guerra, MS

Tianna is a dual diagnosis therapist with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Salem State University. She has extensive experience working in the mental health field in various settings, including a specialty in substance use disorder having previous experience working at a structured outpatient addiction programs and in medication assisted treatment. Tianna has also previously worked in outpatient counseling seeing children through adults, in home therapy with families and has experience in case management and facilitating parenting education as well as different types of therapeutic groups. Tianna serves clients of all ages. Her clinical interests include co-occurring substance use disorders, trauma, mood disorders, self-esteem, anxiety, stress management, and life transitions. Tianna integrates strength-based, trauma informed, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavioral (DBT), and solution focused approaches in therapy, while always emphasizing and utilizing a client centered approach to find the right fit and approach to treatment with each client.

Sarah Moore-Ede, PMHNP-BC

Sarah joined the team at Comprehensive Health Services in 2018. Sarah received her BA from Trinity College in 2002, her BSN from Curry College in 2006 and her MSN from Northeastern University in 2018. For the past twelve years she has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including McLean Hospital and Children’s Hospital Boston. Sarah is trained in the treatment and medication management of all age groups and has experience working with individuals throughout the lifespan. Her approach to psychiatric care ties together her understanding of the interplay of emotional and physical health and wellness.

Outside of her clinical practice, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as traveling, reading and staying active. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the Massachusetts Association for Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurses, and a volunteer for a local Child Assault Prevention Program.

Compassion is at the heart of my practice, and I am deeply committed to helping my clients achieve the best possible quality of life and overall well-being. I understand that mental health challenges can be daunting, but I am dedicated to walking alongside my clients on their path to recovery. I strongly believe in the importance of building therapeutic relationships and collaborating with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
